Fingers and toes and eyes crossed
It is now over a week. Four successful dates together. One more for tomorrow. He has cooked for her twice (and baked her peanut butter cookies!!). She has cooked for him once, and will again tomorrow. They talk on the phone several times a day… and wonder of wonders, Gigi is not the only one calling!! In the past, Gigi was quick to announce she had met someone special… she announced it to her friends and coworkers, and of course on facebook, and then more recently on this blog. Of course, it never seemed to last, and then Gigi had to tell everyone that once again, she was mistaken in having thought she found a great guy. It is now April showers bringing May flowers, with enough sun peeking through to give Gigi a good tan. She prefers to date when she is tan and not pale wintery white! She is still refraining from dating… new guys that is. She is still hearing from Darrell, Eric, and John… all of whom have had one to two dates. So she feels like she has someone to talk to, keeps her toys for company at night, and for now life is ok.
A week off? School and dating?
Gigi is spending this week not dating avidly, but sunbathing on her hammock.
