Favorite Romantic Vacation Spot #29: Hinton, Alberta

  • August 25, 2010 at 9:14 pm

Hannah lives in Alberta, and chose it for her favorite vacation spot. Gigi doesn’t blame in her in the slightest… having spent six wonderful summers there when she was dating her Canadian boyfriend Daniel, Gigi came to love its singular beauty. Alberta is such a beautiful province, filled with breathtaking mountain scenery and rivers, wild animals and nature… It is a great place to discover while camping in the wild. You can go horseback riding, fishing, hiking, and if you have off road vehicles, even better… Favorite Romantic Vacation Spot #29: Hinton, Alberta – continue reading…

Favorite Romantic Vacation Spot #28: Rome (Jean-Claude’s choice)

  • August 18, 2010 at 3:41 am

For our last favorite category, I thought my Jean-Claude would choose Mallorca. Funny how no one has chosen that yet!! But my baby chose the Spanish steps in Rome, and Gigi agrees. Rome would be a wonderfully romantic place for Gigi and Jean-Claude to walk around in hand-in-hand. Then again, any place would be romantic with him. Favorite Romantic Vacation Spot #27: River Walk in Detroit (Felix’s choice)

  • August 12, 2010 at 2:35 pm

Whenever I’ve asked people about their favorite romantic getaway, I get sent suggestions for exotic places. Now Detroit might never have been someone’s idea of romantic, but when I asked Felix about his favorite place, he told me it was the River Walk in downtown Detroit. And Gigi totally agrees… for those of us in the Detroit Metro area who cannot get away a lot, there is so much to do in Detroit… and the river walk is romantic and beautiful. One of our past readers suggested Waikiki as a great romantic place to visit. Christopher chose Kihei on Maui as another Hawaiian must see. All that Gigi knows is that if it is on an island and tropical, she’s in…even if it is the island on the television show “Lost” that she just got hooked on. Ads long as there is food and electricity, (and yes, internet) Gigi will go!! Favorite Romantic Vacation Spot #26: Kihei, Hawaii – continue reading…

Paris. What can one say about Paris? It must be on everyone’s to visit list, right? Angela’s choice was yet again perfect.
