Gigi loved Hannah’s choice for romantic songs… some of Gigi’s favorite slow songs are sung by Bryan Adams. Who would ever have thought a rocker like him, could sing such heart wrenching emotional songs with such great lyrics to them? When Gigi makes a tape of slow songs, there are always at least a few of his songs. Favorite Romantic Songs #29: Hannah’s choice – continue reading…
Favorite Romantic Songs #28: Jean-Claude’s choice
Music is as important to Jean-Claude as it is to Gigi. They spent one afternoon texting songs to each other, and then listening to them on youtube.com. Jean-Claude told Gigi that music is a very important part of his life, and he loves lyrics as much as Gigi does… yet another thing they have in common. He loves to dance too, so Gigi cannot wait to take him out on the town, and dance the night away. He can even salsa dance… oy vey!! Favorite Romantic Song #27: Felix’s choice
Felix Davis shared a lot with Gigi this week to help out with the blog, and Gigi is so grateful about this. Felix is a wonderful local poet, and Gigi is helping him edit his poems so that he can put together his first book of poetry… with over 100 poems, I think this is an excellent idea. His poetry is deep and meaningful, thoughtful and sensitive, and appeals to both men and women. Favorite Romantic Song #27: Felix’s choice – continue reading…

Favorite Romantic Song #24: Angela’s choice
Angela Nichols is one of Gigi’s favorite local authors, and she writes a great short story series called “If the Penguin Were Female” loosely based on the Batman stories. We met first through Troubadour21.com where Gigi edits stories, and we finally met in person last month at a poetry venue. Favorite Romantic Song #24: Angela’s choice – continue reading…
Favorite Romantic Songs #23: Susie’s choice
This week’s favorites go to one of my youngest son’s Shane’s favorite teacher ever. He was in her class for 4th grade, and Gigi and Susie taught together in the same school for a year. She would call Gigi “Sparkles” because of her extrovert and extravagant way of dressing, saying that it wasn’t fair that Gigi could get away with it, simply by being the Spanish teacher… lol Favorite Romantic Songs #23: Susie’s choice – continue reading…
Favorite Romantic Song #22: Dimonique’s choice
Dimonique, a poet friend of Gigi’s shared an old nightmare date of hers this week, and also some of her favorite romantic things. She didn’t have any classic favorite poems to share (she just began reading the old classics), but many of her favorite poets have some of their poems on our blog. As for a favorite song, Dimonique said that it changes constantly, but has held strong for over a year now. Favorite Romantic Song #22: Dimonique’s choice – continue reading…

Favorite Romantic Song #20: Apollo’s choice
Gigi will have to research this song that Apollo chose since it doesn’t ring any bells… the song or the band. But he has had such great taste in everything else, that Gigi is certain it must be a good song. Favorite Romantic Song #20: Apollo’s choice – continue reading…
