Favorite Romantic Meal #39: From Svetlana’s kitchen

  • January 13, 2011 at 10:31 pm

Gigi used to cook for Svetlana when she was younger and had sleepovers with Gigi’s sons, or even when Svetlana and her mother lived with Gigi for a while. Their favorite cooking story is the day they made macaroni and cheese out of a box, and there were bugs in it. They put on fake Russian accents to go with Svetlana’s nickname, and asked the boys if they wanted “Mac n cheese with bugs or without bugs”. Of course, we do not recommend the bugs in your romantic meal, so we looked for a good recipe online for you to use.

Tina has the right idea for a romantic meal… there is nothing like a good bottle of wine and a good plate of spaghetti!! It is an easy dish to make, and something everyone loves. Gigi is known in several countries for her amazing spaghetti sauce. She cooked it this week for the kids that she is babysitting, and they practically inhaled it. Favorite Romantic Meal #35: From Angel and Leroy’s kitchen

  • October 9, 2010 at 9:31 pm

This week’s favorite romantic meal is very easy… and here it is, straight from Angel to you. It needs no recipe, apart from two loving people, four loving hands, and romantic collaboration. What could be more romantic than spending a whole week cooking together when you are used to being apart? Cooking together is so much more fun than simply cooking on your own… stealing kisses, trailing caresses, tasting the food together, feeding it to each other… oh Gigi cannot wait for the day when she and Jean-Claude can do the same thing, since he also loves to cook as much as she does. She is happy that Angel and Leroy had the chance to do this… Favorite Romantic Meal #35: From Angel and Leroy’s kitchen – continue reading…

Favorite Romantic Meal #32: From Gigi’s kitchen

Marc didn’t have a favorite meal to choose, so Gigi did that. This is an easy task, since she loves to cook. So does her Jean-Claude, and hopefully he will be here soon to prove just that. A while back, Gigi chose going on a picnic as a romantic activity. She thought that before it gets cold, a romantic picnic would be just the thing, and she included quite a few recipes on things you could take on that picnic… Favorite Romantic Meal #32: From Gigi’s kitchen – continue reading…

Winnie loves spare ribs, chili con carne or curry. She didn’t send us a recipe yet, so Gigi did some googling of her own, and found this one to share with you. Gigi is not a huge chili fan, since she doesn’t like spicy food, but god knows most men seem to love this one, so Winnie picked a great thing to cook for your man!! Favorite Romantic Meal 30: From Gigi’s kitchen

  • September 3, 2010 at 10:00 pm

Gigi had never shopped at Trader Joe’s until she was dating her poet Oscar. Then Helen took her there, and Gigi was hooked. They have very cheap food, and great packages that you can quickly put together into great meals. Gigi’s favorite is the Mandarin orange chicken with the shrimp fried rice. It is so easy to prepare and comes out tasting as though you ordered it at a restaurant. Favorite Romantic Meal 30: From Gigi’s kitchen – continue reading…
