Gigi used to cook for Svetlana when she was younger and had sleepovers with Gigi’s sons, or even when Svetlana and her mother lived with Gigi for a while. Their favorite cooking story is the day they made macaroni and cheese out of a box, and there were bugs in it. They put on fake Russian accents to go with Svetlana’s nickname, and asked the boys if they wanted “Mac n cheese with bugs or without bugs”. Of course, we do not recommend the bugs in your romantic meal, so we looked for a good recipe online for you to use.

Gigi has known Svetlana since she was in kindergarten, and now she is a woman in college… OMG indeed!! She has been asking to accept her on face book and to know the address of this blog, but it still seems weird to Gigi that this little girl is now a woman, in all the sense of the world…. hmmm wonder if she would share that story here. Svetlana might be a young ‘un, but she has very good taste in romantic things, Gigi can almost remember being 19 and naive about love and life, so maybe it is about time that we get the opinions of the young and untainted by heartbreak.
Svetlana chose a song that Gigi had never heard of. It’s no wonder, since Gigi and her Canadian boy friend walked out of that movie within minutes lol.
Charlie didn’t come up with a romantic movie choice this week, so Gigi is pulling rank and giving one of her top favorites… Titanic. She could watch it over and over and over again, and in fact, she did watch it with Jonathan just last weekend. Yup, her sweetie will watch romantic movies with her.
