  • November 2, 2011 at 9:19 pm

Gigi used to ask her friends who had happy relationships for tips on how they made it work. She ran out of friends… a sad truth on how few people seem to be happy. The same is true in Hollywood, where marriages sometimes don’t last long enough for the ink to dry on the marriage papers, before they are signing the divorce ones. Here is a great article on how famous couples make it work Guest Writer #128: “CELEBRITY WISDOM” – continue reading…

Guest Writer #126: “Dream Team”

  • November 2, 2011 at 9:01 pm

I think I’m part of a Dream Team…

I’m pretty sure we’ve discussed the concept before, but let’s go back and recall what this is. A Dream Team is the people you date and/or have in your life who separately embody different qualities that add to your Dream Man. Based on common knowledge, it takes about three men to add up to the Dream Man. When have a group of three, it is generally called “The Trinity.” Once upon a time, I had a Trinity of my own. There was the male friend who I could talk to about ANYTHING…and I do mean ANYTHING. If he wasn’t next to me, I knew where he was, and it was the same for him. Anyone on the outside looking in would think that we were a couple, and we COULD have been-if we were REMOTELY mutually attracted at the same time. Guest Writer #119: “Cat Lady In Training”

  • October 17, 2011 at 11:27 pm

I’ve been trying as of late to write blogs that are more informational and less slices of my life, but today, folks, I’ll be doing a good ol’ vent! As I stated in “The Make-Up Blog” (http://www.adventuresindating.net/2010/10/14/guest-writer-16-the-make-up-blog-by-dimonique-boyd/), the majority of male attention that I get comes on days when I’m wearing some sweats and a tee and my hair is half done. Well, I had one of those days this past Sunday. Guest Writer #119: “Cat Lady In Training” – continue reading…
