Just because you’ve got someone special in your life that makes you feel like a million bucks doesn’t mean your parents are going to approve of the time you’re spending with him or her. In fact, they may be downright disapproving when it comes to the person you’ve chosen to date. While most people that have reached the age of legal consent come to the conclusion that they’re going to date whomever they want, regardless of their parents’ vote on the subject, there’s no reason to raise animosity by copping an attitude that is just as poor as the people who brought you into this world.
