The two most common settings for a first date are a coffee shop and a restaurant. We all have to eat, right? So why not use our penchant for pigging-out to stage a get-to-know-you? I long ago came to the realization that I simply have a lack of patience. I’m the type of person who will fill a shopping cart, stand at the end of a long line until I’m hot and my feet hurt, then push said cart into a corner and walk out of the store with nothing. I can’t watch commercials on TV anymore. During commercial breaks, I play with my cell phone and likely end up forgetting what I was watching in the first place. Similarly, I have a hard time waiting in Love. I’ll wait forever for the guy I want if I know he’s coming, but how do I know if THIS one is actually COMING?
