Well, hello world. It’s been a long, long time since Helen has last written. I have been very busy with the craziest class I have ever had in all of my teaching career, getting my master’s degree, raising a son on my own, buying (and negotiating, researching) a new car, the list goes on and on. Oh, and as for love? Well, sometimes, life gets in the way of that. On top of it all, I have a little mouse or chipmunk that is living in the ceiling of my oh-so-nice and classy looking townhouse (which I pay too much rent for) that insists on doing it’s best tap routines throughout the night when I am attempting sleep. It’s gotten a bit humorous. At the end of the night, as I finally fall in bed with a wet head of hair and not doubting that I will fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow, it’s almost as if someone has turned a spotlight on for that damned rodent and begins the countdown…”Five, six, seven, eight!”
Oh, life…how funny it is. So, pardon me for yet another absence, but I promise you, I will have more stories soon. I have a date tomorrow, and we shall see what it shall entail. Until then, I wish you all a happy dating…and if anyone knows how to get rid of a rodent in the ceiling besides shooting a bazooka through the wall, let me know! LOL
