Toys for the Lonely #77: Sex Swings

  • October 26, 2010 at 8:32 pm

There are good sex toys and there are great sex toys. And then there are the amazing king (or queen) of sex toys. Some toys you can use on your own or with a partner. Some toys can only be used with a partner, which leaves us single women at the mercy of a man, and his whims. Sassy was hoping that her Norwegian man Bobby would be the man that she could depend on, and thinking that he would come see her, even if it meant crossing an ocean, she requested a sex toy that she has wanted to try for over 6 years. A sex swing. Adult Sex Toys was the only one of all the sex toy websites that Sassy reviews for who was not just willing to send her a sex swing to try out with Bobby, but even understood that the review would have to wait until he got to Michigan. Toys for the Lonely #76: Lunar Rabbit

  • October 26, 2010 at 8:25 pm

Sassy’s favorite sex toys these days come to her straight from Evolved Novelties. She just cannot get enough of them. They are probably the best designs she has ever seen, arriving in the most beautiful keeper cases, and the brightest colors. They also have the most amazing functions, and they please her in a variety of ways. They are like sex toys for Goldilocks… some are small, some are medium, and some are big. And Sassylocks loves them all!! I am sure that Mama Bear would have loved to have one too. Unfortunately for her, fairy tale characters don’t get the kinds of toys Sassy gets to play with. They have to deal with witches and ogres. Now Sassy has to work with witches and ogres, but she can forget about them at night when lying in bed with her toys. Favorite Romantic Poem #16: “Heart we will forget him” by Emily Dickinson

Heart, we will forget him
a poem by Emily Dickinson

In the last 20 something years, Gigi has had to get over serious heart ache a few times in her life. When she has loved deeply, and lost, she tends to wallow in sadness for a while, crying and listening to sad songs, and writing sad poetry. When she has lost someone whom she thought she cared about, but realized at the end, that it was just a fantasy, then it was much easier to move on. Such is the case with Jean-Claude. He was never real, just a figment of Gigi’s hopeful imagination. He was never whom she thought he was… so getting over him is a piece of cake… and Gigi already has her eyes on someone new (and is it mean of Gigi to hope that Jean-Claude is reading this?). Toys for the Lonely #75: Strap on

  • October 26, 2010 at 8:20 pm

Sex toys you can hold. Sex toys you can sit on. Sex toys you can swing from. Sex toys you strap on. There seems to be sex toys for every need and every position. For every need and every place. Could sex toys ever replace a man? Hmmmm… nah!! But they definitely work as a great substitute for those nights spent alone in bed. Continue reading ‘Toys for the Lonely #75: Strap on’

Gigi might no longer be in a long distance relationship, but she has a few good friends who are, so these blogs will continue for them, and for whoever else finds them. This week’s poem is by one of my favorite local poets, Christopher Jones. It is so nice to know that there are still real men out there who can write romantic poetry for a woman. Maybe one day Gigi will find herself a poet just like this!! Continue reading ‘Poem #44: “Ain’t no sunshine” by Christopher Jones’

Guest Writer #23: “Fairytaleitis”

  • October 25, 2010 at 9:38 pm

Alright kiddies let’s start at the source… Women are by nature emotional creatures; Men are by nature not. So, of course, when you combine these two very different natures of the same species you get mass quantities of miscommunication, drama, emotional turmoil and tears. This is an obvious fact known by all, but the question remains… Continue reading ‘Guest Writer #23: “Fairytaleitis”’
