Last week our nightmare date was one in which Sassy’s, Buffy and Muffy went out on a double date with Frick and Frack, two Latino brothers that they sometimes hang out with. What made it a nightmare was the fact that they brought their dad along, which made the whole “fun” part of the date rather strange!! Sassy just laughed when she heard the story, and reminded them of the last time they went out with them, when they swore up and down that they would never ever go out with them again. Oh how many times do we say things like this, and not follow our excellent advice later on?
Last week’s date was not quite as bad as the first time that Frick and Frack really put them through hell. Bringing dad along put a damper on things, but at least Buffy and Muffy were able to kick them out after the date ended, and sleep happily in their own beds. The first time that Frick and Frack let them down, they were not quite as lucky.
Buffy and Muffy had just met the brothers, and really enjoyed their, shall I say “company”. There was nothing serious about their intentions, but they enjoyed being with them, and the side benefits were very good. So Buffy and Muffy put a lot of thought into planning a special night with them. They decided to drive to see them, in the nearby city where Frack lives. As mentioned in the last blog, some of this quartet of people are technically not free to get away, so planning a drive and a night away took some time and effort.
They called Sassy on the way up, all excited to be going to see their hot men… the hotness of them is what has them forgive them time and again, I think… and Sassy doesn’t blame them in the slightest. God knows she has forgiven men way more than she should have.
Well, the excitement didn’t last long. Even though the trip had been planned for a while, Frack totally forgot that it was his girl friend’s birthday… so he wouldn’t be able to be with Muffy as planned. Boy, was she royally pissed off!! He had to go be with his girl friend for dinner, and he told Muffy that he would try and get away afterwards, so they could have some time together.
As if this wasn’t bad enough, Frick had to go with Frack, so even Buffy lost her guy!! Why did Frick have to go? well, he also had a woman in his life, and supposedly had come up to be with his brother, so he could hardly go off on his own, and leave Frack alone… or Frack’s girl friend would wonder where he was, and would tell Frick’s woman that he had gone off somewhere…
So there were Buffy and Muffy, stuck in a dead end town of Hicksville, Michigan, with no idea of where the good places to hang out were. They are both avid salsa dancers, and in those days never went to any other kind of club. Well, Hicksville? Not known for its salsa… and where they ended up had Sassy in stitches that night. The girls went out, nicely dressed, dumped by their dates, and ended up in a hick bar, full of cowboys, cowboy music, and… ready for it? A mechanical bull!! By Buffy’s count, it was the worst night of her life… ever!! Sassy was home that night, almost asleep when they texted her all that had happened. When she read about the bull, she began to laugh her head off. She had just bought her first Iphone, and was not yet used to texting, and she kept sending them texts that corrected their own spelling, so that they made no sense, and had the girls in their own tears of laughter! I wish Sassy had saved them. They were truly funny.
Buffy and Muffy ended up spending the whole night alone, without their men, because of course, they were not able to leave the girl friend on her birthday. They swore, really swore, that they would never ever ever talk to those men again. I don’t think it lasted that long… oy vey, the things we do for lust and love and like!!
