  • September 25, 2010 at 4:02 pm

Yes. I know. Gigi is obsessed with skype. She is just amazed at how close it can bring two people who are far away from each other, and how it makes it seem like a real date, as if you are really together. All the other dating activities that Gigi has talked about in this category are dates that must be carried out in person… but what about dates for those who are separated because of work or circumstances beyond their control. do they not deserve ideas for dates? Farmer’s Markets

  • September 25, 2010 at 11:19 am

Gideon and I are about to go to a farmer’s market. Yet another wonderful place to meet someone special. I just wish that everyone would leave their cell phones, lap tops and other communication devices at HOME so that they can interact face to face with other people. In our world today, I feel as though we have lost a very important aspect of our society: the human connection. It seems to me that I hear more and more people who are lonely and feel isolated, even when they go out in public. Continue reading ‘Farmer’s Markets’

Success Story #33: Tina and Gary

  • September 25, 2010 at 1:57 am

Gigi wonders how much time has to pass before a relationship can be counted as a success story. Only one of the 32 stories written about here has ended up in a break-up. So far, all the others are still happily chugging along. In the past 33 weeks since we started our blog, I have been able to find a different success story for each week, which is a good thing, and gives Gigi hope that there is a happy future for her and Jean-Claude. So far they are lasting more than any local men Gigi has dated in the past few years. Continue reading ‘Success Story #33: Tina and Gary’

Nightmare date #33: Frick and Frack

  • September 25, 2010 at 1:50 am

Last week our nightmare date was one in which Sassy’s, Buffy and Muffy went out on a double date with Frick and Frack, two Latino brothers that they sometimes hang out with. What made it a nightmare was the fact that they brought their dad along, which made the whole “fun” part of the date rather strange!! Sassy just laughed when she heard the story, and reminded them of the last time they went out with them, when they swore up and down that they would never ever go out with them again. Oh how many times do we say things like this, and not follow our excellent advice later on? Continue reading ‘Nightmare date #33: Frick and Frack’

  • September 25, 2010 at 1:29 am

Gigi recently found a new website on online dating, and they sent her this date story to share. I like how they set up the date recap, giving details of the person, the date, and how it went. Give it a read, and let us know how you liked it. Continue reading ‘Guest writer’s dating story #1: The Puppy Lawyer’

Book Review #4: 365 Positions

  • September 25, 2010 at 12:32 am

Sassy loves reading, and when not happily using her sex toys, she has her nose buried in a book. So what better way to combine both loves than to start reviewing sex books? Life is good in Sassy land, at least where love and reviews are concerned… work is a whole other story, and burying her nose in a book about sex is just the thing to take her mind off work-related stress!!
