Marc didn’t have a favorite meal to choose, so Gigi did that. This is an easy task, since she loves to cook. So does her Jean-Claude, and hopefully he will be here soon to prove just that. Favorite Romantic Vacation Spot #32: The Forbidden City in China
Marc has told Gigi before that he no longer dates, and hasn’t in years. Gigi wasn’t sure how serious he was about this, but he did write that “I was actually serious when I said I haven’t dated in 20 years. I’ve never vacationed with anyone, but my first love and I broke the ice in the Forbidden City in China. True story. Favorite Romantic Book #32: Marc’s choice
When Gigi asked Marc for a romantic book, he named one of Gigi’s favorites. Technically it is a book of poetry, and one that brings memories that are both happy and sad at the same time… from a time long ago that she doesn’t let herself think about too much… one of the lost loves of her life. Favorite Romantic Song #32: Marc’s choice
Marc chose a group that I have never heard of, The Roches, so once again I used the internet to do some research, and then youtube.com to listen to the song. I dread to think what Gigi would do without the internet. Mark wrote to Gigi “I think a lot of sad love songs are romantic, especially anything by the Roches.” The funny thing? The song Gigi found mentions going to Ireland soon!! Ireland… where her Jean-Claude is whom she will go to Ireland to see at Christmas!! How prophetic is this choice? Top “Ten” #32: What is a true friend
A big part of happy dating is making a real, and true and close friendship. Friendship is for people dating, and of course, there are the friendships that have nothing to do with dating. In both, I think that having a true friendship is one of the most important things in the world. You need to be friends with the one you love, and you need your friends to be true to you and be there for you while you are having dating or relationship issues.
