Success story #31: Alicia and Jose

  • September 10, 2010 at 8:50 pm

Face book has brought so many new people into Gigi’s life. Alicia is one of them. She also grew up in Mallorca, and they have many friends in common, which brought them together. Alicia has great comments on our blog questions, and as she is one of the few happily married people, she sweetly agreed to share her story with us. Favorite Romantic Vacation Spot #31: ANYWHERE!!

  • September 10, 2010 at 7:26 pm

When Gigi asked Winnie for her favorite romantic vacation spot, she got a very easy answer: “I haven’t had one in over 3 years!!! ANYWHERE!!” This is not really that hard to imagine. Gigi has not gone on a romantic vacation in even longer than Winnie, so really, anything would be romantic right about now!!

I think this goes with the dating activity I wrote for this week, that just getting away with a special someone is romance enough, be it to a hotel in your own hometown, a small little place nearby, a Metropolitan city, a romantic island… no matter… You can turn any of these into a romantic get away (and according to Mike and Boris, if you throw a casino in there, even better!!).

So we will leave this blog short and sweet… jsut use your own imagination, and think of a place close enough to your home, and cheap enough to get to, and just get away, even if only for one night!!

Favorite Romantic Meal #31: from Winnie’s kitchen

  • September 10, 2010 at 7:21 pm

Winnie loves spare ribs, chili con carne or curry. She didn’t send us a recipe yet, so Gigi did some googling of her own, and found this one to share with you. Gigi is not a huge chili fan, since she doesn’t like spicy food, but god knows most men seem to love this one, so Winnie picked a great thing to cook for your man!! Favorite Romantic Song #31: Winnie’s choice

  • September 10, 2010 at 7:16 pm

Finally something romantic!! lol… Winnie definitely added something new to our blog…something other than your usual romantic favorites. For her songs though she chose a good oldie and classic love song, that everyone will recognize. Continue reading ‘Favorite Romantic Song #31: Winnie’s choice’

Favorite Romantic Movie #31: Winnie’s choice

  • September 10, 2010 at 7:00 pm

Winnie’s choice for favorite movie was one Gigi hasn’t seen in years, and she had to go google it, to remember what it was about and who was in it. She still can’t quite remember it, or if it had any romance in it, so I am putting it on my to-watch again list. Continue reading ‘Favorite Romantic Movie #31: Winnie’s choice’

Favorite Romantic Book #31: Winnie’s choice

  • September 10, 2010 at 6:51 pm

Winnie definitely has a different opinion of romance than Gigi, but in truth, one can find romance in almost anything. While the book Winnie chose is not a solely romantic book, it does have some romantic moments int it, I think… and not where Golem lusts after the rings!! Favorite Romantic Poem #11: “The Goops” by Gillette Burgess

  • September 10, 2010 at 6:44 pm

Yet another friend that Gigi has made on face book is Winnie. She adds comments on most blogs these days, and Gigi is ever grateful and amused by Winnie’s quirky sense of humor. She is also one of the many of Gigi’s friends who grew up in Mallorca, Spain, and she is actually lucky enough to still live there. Winnie shared her favorites with us, and we are starting them off with her off-the-wall choice of a romantic poem. But hey, Gigi posts them as she gets them 🙂 Continue reading ‘Favorite Romantic Poem #11: “The Goops” by Gillette Burgess’

Love Games #3: 52 Weeks of Romance

  • September 10, 2010 at 6:32 pm

Sassy’s last love game review was about 52 weeks of naughty nights. This review is the same idea, and totally similar in idea, but with a different theme. This one concentrates on romance, which is just as important to a relationship as bedroom naughtiness. One might think that you do not need both romance and naughtiness, but Sassy begs to differ. I think that both are VITAL to keep a relationship both alive and healthy, and hopefully help it last until you both need walkers to carry out the activities described here!!
