Now that I’ve been inspired to write poetry, I will be adding one a week of my poems… a prerogative of having this blog!! Our poem this week is by Felix Davis, a very talented poet whom I was lucky enough to meet on face book, thanks to poet friends that we have in common. His poems make you feel exactly what he felt, and tell yourself that you’ve felt the same things he has, or at least that’s how I feel. Dating Mr. Brown, three of them! Or a la tercera va la vencida (third time lucky)
Gigi had tried men of many different nationalities, races, and religions, in her search for true love. Never let it be said that she didn’t give love a serious try. And yet none of them had ever worked out. So her next foray into love was in unknowingly picking three men with the same and very common last name of Brown. Three Mr. Browns!! It could only ever happen to Gigi, so why was she even surprised at this point in her dating life?
