I decided last week to start writing my Gigi stories again. I had stopped in December when I reached 30 chapters because the editor of Troubadour 21 asked me to stop posting them on T21. Instead he created this blog for me and Helen. I was intending on writing Gigi stories and putting them here, but first I wanted to post chapters 1-30. Poem #10: “The man I’ve not yet met” by Gigi Flores
Gigi has been bitten by the poem bug. Hard!! I used to think I was a story writer, but ever since I began looking for love poems to post here, I began feeling this urge to write my own. I used to years ago in college, and I’ve always loved reading poetry. So I wrote a poem making a female version of Rickie Gavin’s poem last week. Then a few days ago, Rickie and I wrote one together. And today a sweet and simple poem about the man I have not yet met… I know it sounds like the latest song by Michael buble, but it is how I feel, and it was so easy to write. Top “Ten” #18: Things to do on a date when on a tight budget
This week’s top ten was inspired by Brie, and is really the life story of Gigi, since she always meets men with no money!! Doctors and lawyers are not for her.
