Gigi first met Karma Qsaay at his poetry cafe Sweet Epiphany, in Detroit, last year, but she had long been a fan of his poetry from the very first poem she read on Troubadour 21. He is her absolute favorite poet, writing with such depth and passion, such tenderness and strength.
