A week off? School and dating?
Gigi is spending this week not dating avidly, but sunbathing on her hammock. Yes, she is still getting texts from Eric and Johnand one from Darrell after a few days of silence – he’s not very “textative” (Gigi’s new invented word) these days… typical!!, but she has not been asked on a date so far. Continue reading ‘Gigi: Week of April 5th’
Our romantic vacation spot choice this week came to us from Donna. Now Donna has lived all over the world, much of her childhood in Spain, and then in Australia as an adult. She suggested Nambung National Park, (The Pinnacles) in Cervantes, Western Australia as the perfect place for a vacation. Continue reading ‘Favorite Romantic Vacation Spot #11: Nambung National Park, Australia’
It worked out perfectly this week… Louise didn’t have a choice for favorite romantic meal or vacation spot, but Donna did. And Donna didn’t have choices for favorite romantic books, movies, or songs, whereas Louise did. So together, they made the perfect team to choose for this week. Continue reading ‘Favorite Romantic Meal #11: From Donna’s kitchen’
If you are looking for classic movies you’ve heard of, but have never seen, then here are some excellent choices for you to put on your “to rent” list. Louise gave us her choices this week for movies, songs, and books, and they probably include choices unknown to our younger readers. What a great opportunity to try something new. Continue reading ‘Favorite Romantic Movies #11: Louise’s choice’
We continue with Louise’s favorite books. Since she is a writer herself, I knew she’d have some good classics in mind. Some of her choices I have read, and some I’ve never heard of, so Gigi will have to put them on her to read list, which is perfect timing since I have next week off!! Continue reading ‘Favorite Romantic Books #11: Louise’s choice’
Last week, I posted Louise’s success story, and this week, I am posting some of her favorites. She didn’t have a favorite vacation spot or meal to share, so I’ll be using someone else’s for those categories… Now keep in mind that since Louise has been with Frank for 43 years, she is one of our older readers, so her choices might not be ones recognized by our younger readers. Use this as a way to learn about what our parents considered romantic in their day. Gigi grew up listening to oldies, and watching classic movies, so she recognized, and loved, Louise’s choices. Continue reading ‘Favorite Romantic Songs #11 : Louise’s choice’
The good thing about being a reviewer for toys is not just that you get to try out different toys for free, and that you get to keep them. It is also that the toy companies tell you to be totally honest, and if you don’t happen to like a particular toy, you can say so. Just tell them why you didn’t like the toy, and that’s that!!
