Comedy clubs!! What a great place for a first date. That way if the date sucks, at least you will have fun laughing at the comedians (and inside you can be laughing at yourself for being stuck on yet another terrbiel date!!).

Gigi has been to two comedy clubs on a first date, and both times she had a wonderful time. Both dates were good, and not the run-away screaming type. And yet they didn’t seem to pan out or go anywhere. But at least Gigi got to enjoy very funny jokes and have a good evening out. There is something about listening to a good comedian that immediately makes you feel better. You forget any troubles or worries you might have in your personal life, and you don’t even have the first date kind of nerves because most of the evening is spent hearing someone else talk, and all you have to do is listen and laugh.

Afterwards, if you actually like your date, you can talk about the jokes and which ones you liked. You can also do this while listening to them, with a simple glance, smile or touch. You can also learn a lot about your date, by seeing what he or she find funny. This could be very important. If they laugh at something you find disgusting or offensive, then that is a huge warning flag that they are not the one for you. If you laugh at the same jokes, then you have found something you have in common: your sense of humor!!

I highly recommend a comedy club when you are begining to date. You can find these clubs in any city or town that you might live in. They might not be big star comedians, but they can still be funny. Try to find one that offers more than one comedian. That way if one comedian sucks, then there will hopefully be another one you like better.

Gigi went to a comedy show last weekend, with four different comedians: two of them hilarious lesbians, and one of them a southern Louisiana guy. Her favorite joke was about his warning about texting while drunk, and how your phone should automatically test your breath for your alchohol level before allowing you to text ot call someone… whoever invents this gadget will make a fricking fortune!!
