Gigi could watch romantic movies nonstop both the oldies and the newer ones, but unfortunately one just doesn’t have enough time. It’s always good to see what other people like, and watch them if these great movies slipped by you when they came out, or if they are oldies you never saw.
Gigi and Tawny used to go to the movies together when in college. they would show them right by our dorm at MSU. I think some of the movies on her favorite list came out when they were in college, showing that their oldies are still their favorites, even years later.
Here are Tawny’s choices:
- “Pretty Woman” with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere
- “Bed of Roses” with Christian Slater and Mary Stuart Masterson
- “Dirty Dancing” with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey
- “Mamma Mia” with Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan
Gigi has seen all of these and they are among her favorites too. She’ll have to watch them again. It’s been years since she saw some of them.
